CAAAV (Communities Against Asian American Violence) is a grassroots, progressive org fighting for tenant and immigrant rights for Chinese and Bengali communities across NYC. I recently joined CAAAV as part of the ARM organizing cohort. Over the last 6 months, I've been learning about what it means to be a CAAAV organizer and learning about the needs of our Asian immigrant communities.
